Kraftmuseet Kraftmuseet formidlar korleis vasskrafta og industrien endra samfunnet tideleg på av 1900-talet. Kraftstasjonen er eit nasjonalt kulturminne med originale maskinar, instrument og interiør. Du får omvising og film, utforske korleis straum blir til, og sjå utstillingar med tema som: Arkitektur, vasskrafthistorie og konfliktar knytt til utbygging. Museumsbutikk og kafé med lokal mat og drikke. Ei kjekk oppleving for små og store. Kraftstasjonen finn du i Tyssedal, fantastisk plassert ved Sørfjorden. The ticket includes a guided tour and a film about the industrial pioneertime. - Guided tours at 11am, 13pm and 15pm Kraftmuseet - The hydropower museum Kraftmuseet tells the story about how industry and hydropower changed the norwegian society in the early 1900s. The power station is a national heritage site and has its original instruments, machines and interior. You can walk around in the museum with or without a guide, it's up to you. We also have an open café and museum shop during the summer, come take a look while enjoying food and beverages. It's a unique experience for every age groupe. The museum is located in Tyssedal, address: Naustbakken 7. It is beautifuly located by the fjord and mountains. Free parking, however you'll have to walk 150m to the power station.
